Air Serbia has welcomed its third Airbus A330-200 at a special ceremony at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) attended by the Minister of Finance, Siniša Mali, the Minister of Economy, Adrijana Mesarović and Air Serbia CEO, Jiří Marek. The new Airbus A330-200 arrived adorned in an EXPO 2027 livery in anticipation of the global exhibition being held in the Serbian capital between May 15, 2024, and August 15, 2027.

A LATAM Airlines Brazil Boeing 777 has successfully been fitted with Lufthansa Technik’s innovative, fuel-saving AeroSHARK film, with plans afoot to include four more. It is the first time that Lufthansa Technik has fitted the AeroSHARK film on an aircraft operated by an external carrier in the Americas. Lufthansa Technik confirmed on October 3, 2024, that LATAM plans to retrofit four additional Boeing 777s with the AeroSHARK technology bringing the total to five.

Sank USS Utah: Last Pearl Harbor Bombardier Dies At 106

Masamitsu Yoshioka, the last known Japanese survivor of the air group that took part in the Raid on Pearl Harbor, has died aged 106. Yoshioka was a 23-year-old bombardier at the time and dropped a torpedo that sunk the unarmed battleship USS Utah (according to the Japan Times, this was by mistake). While The Japan Times doesn't specify which plane he flew, it was likely a Nakajima B5N torpedo bomber.
