Ailerons are actuated by pushrods that run through the wing struts, reducing aerodynamic drag and giving the responsive ailerons a solid feel. Given that gross weight for the NX is 2,300 pounds and the standard empty weight in base configuration is 1,216 pounds, CubCrafters achieved its goal.
