He was interrupted when an employee of the fixed base operator arrived with ice for the aircraft’s bar. He returned to the cockpit, no doubt embarrassed at his rookie mistake, but there was no harm done. Once the first officer was back in the cockpit, they discussed the rudder limiter fault message.
