Introduction Okinawa was one of the cities I like to visit especially after hearing a lot of positive reviews from my friends so after much consideration, I decided to make it my first stop and looking at the list of airlines, I decided on Peach. Overall I thought the airline did a good job in designing the mobile app and website.

This includes the direct flight with Peach on the airline's A321LR and also the chance to try out Zipair from Tokyo Narita to Singapore but that means I had to either fly or take the train ride from Osaka to Tokyo Narita. This airline was set up in 2011 and started operation a year later.

This route also means I would get to fly through Russian airspace which many airlines excluding the Chinese airlines are avoiding and that is an advantage for the Chinese airlines as they are able to charge the tickets at lower fare while flying directly from China to Europe and vice versa but it can't be said the same for the European airlines.

Lady luck was smiling on me when the airline announced that for a short period of time, this aircraft would be deployed on selected dates for the month of May to Singapore (BR215/216 and a few flights on BR225/226) so I decided to go for it. Taipei to Hong route has a lot of flights and the airline deploys both 787 series but there are 2 issues, the flight time is too short and also aircraft change happens very frequently so with this route ended up being ruled out, my next option was a flight from Tokyo to Taipei. I suppose the airline rotate these aircraft every few months.

The airline still has the Airbus A319 (Similar capacity to the A220-300) probably because some of the A220 are grounded due to the engine issue and I believe once that is sorted out, the A319 will be retired. No prize for guessing which airline dominates this airport. Volare is the airline's frequent flyer program.

Currently ANA (Not the airline) Aeroportos de Portugal is responsible for the airport and so far it has expanded the airport by building a second terminal which is used exclusively for low cost carriers. The airline offered lounge access and gave us a chance to upgrade to business class but it was an easy decision to skip them.
