The airline still has the Airbus A319 (Similar capacity to the A220-300) probably because some of the A220 are grounded due to the engine issue and I believe once that is sorted out, the A319 will be retired. Taipei to Hong route has a lot of flights and the airline deploys both 787 series but there are 2 issues, the flight time is too short and also aircraft change happens very frequently so with this route ended up being ruled out, my next option was a flight from Tokyo to Taipei. I suppose the airline rotate these aircraft every few months.

A violent and destructive engine failure on the aircraft, one of United Airlines ’ McDonnell Douglas DC-10s, caused the loss of all standard flight controls through the fracture of all three hydraulic syst ems on the aircraft. Another Remote Tower benefit is that each aircraft within visual range can be tagged with that aircrafts tail number, just as it might if the controller were looking at a radar screen.
