The aircraft was scheduled to depart at around 6PM, and began it takeoff roll from runway 9R. The crew made the decision to reject the takeoff due to an alarm that went off in the flight deck, and briefly stopped on the runway. At the same time, youd think the controller wouldnt have given the instruction to make that turn.

I was looking forward to this flight, as it was my first time flying a Cathay Pacific narrow body aircraft. The A321neo is a fairly recent addition to Cathay Pacifics fleet, though over time itll become an increasingly popular aircraft for the airline. The crew tried to reset it, with no luck.

I was looking forward to this flight for a couple of reasons. For one, it would be my first flight on the brand new Airbus A321XLR, which is a plane that will become increasingly important for airlines in the coming years. The airline has staggered seats, alternating between a 2-2 and 1-1 layout.
