Taiwan’s STARLUX Airlines orders an additional five A350F freighters

American Airlines diverts plane too big to land in Naples, reroutes to Rome

An American Airlines Boeing 787-9 en route to Naples, Italy was forced to divert to Rome-Fiumicino (FCO) during its final approach after it was discovered that the destination airport lacked the capability to accommodate an aircraft of its size. On the day of the incident, Flight AA780 had 231 passengers and 11 crew members onboard.
