The pilot reported being high and fast on final approach. The airplane sustained substantial damage to both wings, the fuselage, and the left horizontal stabilizer. According to the pilot, when the aircraft was on final approach approximately 30 feet from the runway threshold, the airplane was struck by a downdraft.
