In maybe 50 seconds we went from about 400 knots and reached the advertised top speed of Mach 2.34, and the jet was still accelerating. The MiG-31, only used in Russia, has its speed hobbled by the cockpit glass. Im sure she wouldve gone past 2.5 Mach that this plane produced are limited; it no longer flies at 2.83
