Looking around the cabin, I noticed this set of cabin crew looked stress and I can understand as they were kept quite busy on this almost full flight. After the engines were stabilised, we taxied to runway 20C. Finally runway 20C/02C was opened that means less taxing for the flights in and out of Singapore.

To get there, you need to follow the signboard leading you to a lift and from the lower level, you can walk through the underpass to get to the other building. Once on board, I noticed a cabin crew was serving champagne on a plastic cup and was pleasantly surprised I was given one, I suppose because of the occasion (New Year's Day).

The cabin crew were waiting for us. After 20 minutes of taxi, we reached runway 20L. We lifted off almost effortlessly. China Airlines also operate this model and the latest news is EVA Air will also join the A350 club from 2026 onwards, subject to changes. Time to board Starlux's Airbus A350-900!
