According to passengers, the situation unfolded rapidly when cabin crew members rushed to the front of the aircraft, urgently seeking medical assistance from anyone on board with the necessary training. At the time, the aircraft was about 110 nautical miles south-southeast of Athens. The Captain was taken for medical attention.

The airport tarmac, traffic was very light at that time. Greeted by the not-so-friendly crew, I made my way to the seat with about 90% of the seats taken. This is the front view of the cabin. So for the pilots to communicate with the cabin crew, they need to do so by the telephone.

This side of the terminal offers view of the tarmac and if you go up to the food court, you are able to do some photography over there. My aircraft, VT-YAK had a long layover at this airport as the previous flight took place the day before so therefore a set of crew was needed to be transported to the aircraft. I can only speculate.

What I like about the interior of the terminals at this airport is they offer good view of the tarmac which allow great opportunity to take good photos of the aircraft. Once on board, I noticed a cabin crew was serving champagne on a plastic cup and was pleasantly surprised I was given one, I suppose because of the occasion (New Year's Day).
