Once on board, the cabin crew waiting at the door, showed me to my seat. My first impression of the crew, they seemed nice and I was looking forward to the flight. Mahan Air's A340-600 Our taxi to the runway took about 14 minutes. At this point, only 2 runways were in operation.

The weather in Minneapolis was really bad, to the point that there was a tornado watch, and flights had to be stopped multiple times. Due to the weather, the inbound aircraft was delayed by around 30 minutes, so that also delayed our departure, since there’s not much ground time for this turn.

The airport layout of CDG airport This airport consists of 4 runways, (08L/26R, 08R/26L, 09L/27R and 09R/27L) and was opened in March 1974. However after pushing back while on the way to the runway, I managed to see some deicing action on an Easyjet A321 aircraft. Look at how lovely the weather was that morning. Touched down!

First, there was a shocking runway collision in Tokyo on the second day of the year. Japan Airlines flight 516 was landing at Haneda Airport (HND) when the Airbus A350-900 collided with a Japan Coast Guard DHC Dash 8 that was already on the runway.

This airport is a hub for Iberia, Level, Air Nostrum and Vueling and operates 3 runways, 06L/24R, 06R/24L and 02/20. Currently the airport has 2 runways 17L/35R and 17R/35L and operates 2 terminals. I was fortunate to be able to enjoy such good weather on that day. We entered the runway. This is Fundacio Teatre Lilure.

Everyone including the cabin crew had to be seated and it was quite bumpy especially flying through the clouds. The adjustable reading lamp Behind the last row of the Class J cabin is the cabin crew's work space. The view from the landing gear, Overall I find JAL's A350-900's cabin product quite fantastic.

This airport has two terminals, operating international and domestic flights respectively and has only a single runway (16/34) in operation. What I don't understand about this flight though is why they didn't dim the lights during take-off and landing, so it was bright cabin from the departure gate to the arrival gate. For the rest of the flight, the weather was good and we had a smooth landing at Okinawa later, arriving at the airport about 19 minutes ahead of schedule.

Once my booking was confirmed, I was offered some duty free items sold at a discount and I can order them before the flight and the cabin crew were delivered to me during the flight. The announcement were made by both the flight crew and flight purser. It was soon our turn as we entered the active runway.

The cabin crew generally was nice and I interacted with one asking her what she thinks about this aircraft and from her response she wasn't enthusiastic about working on it and I can understand why. Just took off in this dreadful weather. The weather didn't look too bad. Once our aircraft pushed back, we were on our way.

I like the cabin interior and the service was not bad, I was glad the cabin crew didn't forget my pre-ordered snack and beverage after I shifted to a new seat. The flight was quite a pleasant one with my snack being served quite late during the flight due to bad weather during departure from Bengaluru.

After a smooth take-off, it didn't take long for our aircraft to reach 10,000 feet and immediately the cabin crew were released to start the service. This set of Japanese crew were nice and I was able to communicate with them without issueas.

Once again, an announcement from the flight crew was made but it was difficult to hear what he was saying as it sounded like another voice in the background (could be the other pilot talking to the ATC) and also the cabin crew made some important announcement including a reminder to us about the consequences if we fail to follow the rules.

With a single runway (17/35) in operation and smaller capacity airport compared to Milan (MXP) airport, there are airlines from other parts of Europe flies to this airport while for international airlines from other continents would fly to MXP airport instead. We taxied towards runway 16L. Rolling down the runway. Flying past runway 23/05. Such beautiful weather on this day. Unlike the weather in Tokyo, it was gloomy at our destination. We touched down on runway 01R. Off we go, it was a typical powerful 767 take off. The lovely view of Tokyo.

When we reached our aircraft, we were the first batch to board so that gave me a chance to explore the cabin. Anyway, once I settled down, the cabin crew came to distribute the menu and also an amenity kit. Once all the passengers settled down and the crew completed the pre-departure checklists, we were on our way.

Just like ITA's A220 cabin, the leather seats are quite comfortable but the legroom space is slightly better on this aircraft. The cabin crew announced to us to seat at our allocated seat which I assumed that this is needed for balancing issue for this aircraft. This time, both of the engines were started after pushed back so no PTU (Power Transfer Unit) - 'barking' noise was heard during our taxi to the runway. It took a while before the seatbelt sign was turned off and the crew started preparing for in-flight service. The 2 hours flight in this cabin was certainly comfortable.

The Captain made his announcement and gave us update on the weather on route and for the announcments by the cabin crew, it was done in 5 languages including the Taiwanese dialect. Take off was slightly turbulent but eventually the weather improved after flying out of Japan. This is the second cabin of the economy class.

Initially a woman sitting at the aisle seat was willing to change her seat with the wife (sitting a row behind me - middle seat) then after that the cabin crew came to assist and informed them that there was a vacant seat at the first row (no idea which seat it was). One thing I won't miss is the dreadful weather. Here we are!

Do remember to your place your reservation before the deadline of 24 hours before the flight of departure as it would give the kitchen crew some time to prepare your food before being delivered to the aircraft. The cabin crew on board will prepare your food before serving it to you. For my flight, these meals were the options.

The weather was cooling and it was a great day for walk. Once that was cleared, the cabin crew were released for duty. Like my previous flights, a set of crew would come around with a camera offering complimentary polaroid photos for the passengers and not surprisingly, they went past me.
