So its been upgraded with a pair of Garmin G5 EFIS displays and a GTN 650 mated to a GTX 345 Mode S transponder. There were only five stall-related accidents, most on high density altitude takeoffs at or near gross weight. So they wouldnt get dizzy, they kept an older Bendix/King KX 155 nav/com and the KMA 24 audio panel.

It has a mid-time engine (O-320-D3G rated at 160 hp), fairly recent annual inspection and 24 month pitot-ptatic/transponder test. Outside of the marine layer that incessantly taunts the coastal areas, back home your experiences with density altitude are minimal. Third, and most important, DENSITY ALTITUDE KILLS!
