When I visited the company’s Olathe, Kansas, engineering hangar to see a G5000 retrofit in progress, Garmin’s Dave Brown made a good point about these older turbine airframes needing a refresh. It’s a huge project. The pitch limits shrink from 20 to 10 degrees nose up and from 15 to 5 degrees nose down.
