Long story short, he was in business class on an overnight transatlantic American flight, in the bulkhead row. After the meal service, the crew continued to be loud in the galley, while most passengers were trying to sleep. Even with headphones on, it impacted his ability to sleep.

Avianca reaches agreement with BOC Aviation for 9 Airbus A320neos

Colombias largest airline, Avianca, has reached an agreement with lessor BOC Aviation to acquire nine Airbus A320neo aircraft. The Singapore-based lessor confirmed on June 5, 2026, that it had entered a contract with Airbus for nine new aircraft with deliveries set to commence in 2027. Avianca, which is part of ABRA Group, has signed up for long-term leases as it looks to bolster its existing fleet of A320neos.

On May 24th, 2025, an All Nippon Airways 787 diverted on its route from Tokyo Haneda to Houston due to an onboard incident. An unruly passenger attempted to open an emergency exit door in-flight , and was forced to be restrained by passengers and crew as the Dreamliner diverted to Seattle. Other than the fear and the disruption caused by the diversion, the passengers weren't in any real danger.

I had an early morning doctors appointment at 7:30 but after that I was good to go. The plan was for a 12:30 meet, perfect. I headed home after the doctor and filled Mary in. The conclusion is I have arthritis in my joints. My knees are the worst with the hands and shoulders a very close second.
