Lockwood Aviation’s maintenance hangar probably sees more Rotax-powered aircraft than many other shops in the country. Before anything else, these are single-engine, unpressurized two-seat lightweights with a max gross weight of 1320 pounds. With an aircraft with a 1320-pound gross weight there really isn’t much inertia.
