Parking Availability & Challenges Parking is generally available; however, overnight and long-stay parking can be difficult to secure, particularly for ferry flights (no passengers on board) unless it is for crew rest. Fuel Availability Jet A-1 and Avgas are available at Seville Airport with no reported fueling delays or shortages.

Although I had hoped to visit the storage hangars to view the aircraft held in storage and those listed for disposal, this wasn’t possible on this occasion. MF628 has been moved to the main display hangars and fully assembled as of April 2023. Much of the flight data from the 188 was later used in the development of Concorde.

It is understood that the three A380s in question are already in long-term storage at LDE so no ferry flights will be needed before work can begin. TARMAC Aerosave The program is being underwritten by the growing demand for A380 parts from the airlines that continue to fly the largest of the Airbus passenger jets.

On Monday, July 15th, the McDonnell Douglas AV-8B+ Harrier II made its final landing after a ferry flight from the nearby Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point in North Carolina. The renowned “Jump Jet” will join the expanding collection of aircraft on display at the Hickory Aviation Museum.
