Full-fuel payload is a whopping 1,150 pounds, and max landing weight is 7,600. We consider that reassuring when the weather becomes turbulent. We can’t say enough about how much we appreciate honesty in aircraft advertising when it comes to weight, because useful load matters in the utility of an aircraft.

It wasnt until I started flying professionally that I needed to balance realistic fuel planning with payload and just a dash of bargain hunting. Obviously, the number one priority when preflight planning is a safe fuel load, but being able to extract a useful payload out of the aircraft is part of why we play the game.

Flight dispatchers also communicate with pilots and update them about weather, turbulence, and other variables that could affect their flight. So, taking information from multiple sources, such as NOTAMs and SIGMETs, is important. For example, turbulence could result in a simple flight level change or require a new route.
