In fact, the unusual pitot-tube location—it peeks out from the center of the prop spinner—was chosen to reduce fuselage-to-wing connections. It actually feels slower.

The captain slowed the aircraft from 104 knots and exited the runway onto a taxiway. First officer : Fff– They exited the runway to the taxiway and the captain shut down the left engine. They taxied back to the runway and began the take-off roll again. He called out that he had no airspeed. First officer : I did.
