Istanbul Airport, first in Europe to conduct triple-runway independent takeoff

It was undertaken by three Turkish Airlines aircraft which departed Istanbul at the exact same time, using each one of the three parallel runways. The list includes the worlds busiest airport, Atlanta-Hartsfield (ATL), as well as Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), which started simultaneous triple runway operations in November 2024.

KLM Boeing 737 skids off runway in Oslo after hydraulic failure

While landing on runway 18 at Torp, the plane veered off the right side of the runway, stopping on soft grass. The affected aircraft remains on the grass near the runway, with no significant disruption reported to ongoing operations. The crew reported a hydraulics issue shortly after departure at 7:05 p.m.
