Andrews eyes and smile were growing big as we approached the plane in silence. We hop out of the cockpit, and Andrew ties the ship to the tarmac for the night. Walking across the ramp, I half expect the movie plot twist where the airplane becomes animated and runs over to see the long separated friend. That sound is the same.

In the meanwhile we were slowly but surely cooking on the 39° hot tarmac while we did not want to drink too much as that might lead to having to find toilet solutions in the next leg of the flights … Two nice fuel guys offered us fresh cold water and we nevertheless took it. A follow-me car brough us to our stands: almost 8 hours of flight.

What I like about the interior of the terminals at this airport is they offer good view of the tarmac which allow great opportunity to take good photos of the aircraft. Do you like the racoon style cockpit? I spotted another green stripes livery on this A330-900neo on final approach to this airport. Let's go to Greece!
