As per ATC, the aircraft departed from Ahmedabad at 1339 IST (0809 UTC) from Runway 23. Today, the Flight Data Recorder was recovered, which, assuming it is readable, will give us the key metrics of the take off and the descent. It gave a MAYDAY call to ATC, but thereafter no response was given by the aircraft to the calls made by ATC.

J28243 took off from Baku at 03:55 UTC time and was flying to Grozny. In video footage, the plane can be seen entering a steep descent toward Aktau and even banking to the right. That's a lot of damage to the tail and the E190 was Embraer's first with a FBW elevator. That crew did an amazing job under the circumstances.
