Air France-KLM makes a move for SAS, to become majority shareholder

In July 4, 2025, Air France-KLM announced its intention to increase its share of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) in order to become the majority owner of the airline. The airline group has already initiated the process to acquire the equity stakes. Until now, they were in the hands of two investment firms, Castlelake and Lind Invest, but their acquisition will bring Air France-KLM’s take in the Scandinavian carrier to 60.5%.

A eVTOL Flying Taxi Flew Over Abu Dhabi
