Depressions in the vertical stabilizer and rudder, as well as stabilator skins and ailerons, all help increase panel stiffness while allowing less under-skin structure. The power plant modifications plate on the engine bay’s firewall. The rudder and elevators both had some internal work done to the ribs prior to re-covering the surfaces, but not much. Today, Ens. Johnson is interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. We had to do some welding on that.

Pretty much the only metal parts are the landing gear legs, stainless firewalls, engine mounts, engines and hardware. An elegantly simple rope system inside the fuselage raises and lowers the Gweduck’s water rudder mounted inside the base of the main rudder (right). Pricing You would have to ask.
