Calculating True Airspeed Follow steps 1-3 from the section above. Find your Calibrated Airspeed on the middle scale on the movable disk. Thats your true airspeed. Calibrated airspeed is not the same as indicated airspeed. For example, if its 120, look for the number 12 on the scale.

A spring switch in the cockpit controlled the turbocharger wastegate, to select whether the turbocharger was engaged or bypassed (or midrange). With the turbocharger engaged, the engine would produce 2,300 rpm; however, with the turbocharger bypassed, the engine would only produce about 2,050 rpm.

In most ways, the cockpit is conventional, with twin center sticks and a prominent throttle lever on the center console. We didnt take the F2 to its optimum altitude, but its not hard to believe itll hit the LSA-mandated maximum of 120 kcas (knots calibrated airspeed). During our airwork, we were burning 3.5
